I'm very grateful for my clients who reach out just to make sure they're not being scammed. There's so many of them out there and they can be pretty subtle. This will be an on-going blog post that shows examples of them. Scams happen across all platforms, sites, etc.
The main thing to remember is if you're not sure, don't click a single thing. Close it, Report it as Junk, and then erase.
Also, if there are questions on it and it comes from an official address, then click on the sender and look at their email. For instance, if you get a potential scam email or text from Amazon but then you click on who the sender is and it isn't received from an official "amazon.com" email address, then it is a scam.
Hopefully this thread of examples will assist people.
